Debra Rector was a terrific sales associate. She was friendly from the start and kept us totally informed on any information, changes etc. We felt extremely comfortable with her and trusted that she had our best interests at heart. She was extremely personable and took extra time on the phone to get to know you better. When we inquired Debra explained what she suggested we might do if we wanted to get $20,000 more on the price of the home. She was totally correct!!! We did some extra things and we got over $50,000 over the asking price. We just appreciated everything about the process and Debra's eagerness and positivity around selling the home. She understood our objective and why we wanted to use a recent sale as a comparable since the sale was really high for the development. We had five offers on the home before the day it was suppose to be available for a showing. She worked very hard to keep another agent informed and agreed with our view on a counteroffer etc. Obviously, she was as thrilled as we were to get a really high offer, and we never actually showed the home. The sale price was everything we could have hoped for and we are positive that putting the house on the MLS as coming soon was key. We also felt that Debra knew how to work with a buyer's agent, which meant what to say or not say at the time. She definitely kept the entire process going and to get us the amount of money we wanted to get. We appreciated her expertise and we consider her more than just our home agent. We enjoyed her personality and admired her work ethic. We were happy to have had Debra Rector as our agent and we felt she did the best job for us. I met Debra as a client at my job, from the very first conversation I knew I loved her however I already had another friend with another agency I had planned to use when I was ready to take the leap. In the meantime Deb just kept talking to me and even sent listings knowing I would probably have to use my friend. As time went by unfortunately my friend became seriously ill and there was no way she could help me, Debra was extremely sensitive to that so much so that she just offered to show me houses if my friend couldn't. When I found the home I wanted I explained the situation to my friend and I let Deb be my realtor. She was amazing and was there every step of the way. Needless to say she's my realtor for life.
